I was extremely happy for the weekend. I went out of the house early -- around 8:30A -- to run some errands and, yes, I took the camera with me. At one of the usual places I stop, I didn't see much and the trees are just beginning to turn for fall so I kept on going. After the errands and some other activities, I did go outside into the yard which is in a rural/urban area. I knew it was too cold for any butterflies and the deer haven't been around for several days. There were several trees...

At the first summer, I chased the black butterflies but they fluttered quickly from place to place never staying in one place for long. When the apple trees began bearing fruit, deer made regular visits to the trees to eat the apples and I stayed away from the trees. At the end of the season, when the flowers at the end of the yard ceased to bloom, I decided to check out the trees. I would occasionally hearing huffing and snorting from the surrounding wild area...the deer warning me away. ...
